Google, as guardian of the Internet, has announced that it will be making it harder to find porn and adult escort services on the internet this year. The search engine giant has announced that it will be curbing the amount of adult material that it displays through its online Ads, which includes porn, adult escort services, intimate massage parlours and other services aimed at gentlemen looking for a little naughty fun. Of course, it will still be ridiculously easy to find what you are looking for online as Google will not be restricting the listings of adult escort services and alike in the organic search engine listings, just stopping the material from appearing on its Adwords advertising network. Advertisers have been sent messages warning them about the changes to terms and conditions and that it will no longer "accept ads that promote graphic depictions of sexual acts including, but not limited to, hardcore pornography; graphic sexual acts including sex acts such as masturbation; genital, anal, and oral sexual activity." While that description covers a lot of ground, it would appear that strip clubs, adult dating sites and sexual dating websites will be unaffected, as will lap dancing services. For the time being at least. Sources:
